1. Agreement scope
These terms govern use of Wise-Revise by students, teachers, schools, and administrators. By using the platform, you accept these terms and all policies referenced within them.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- Users must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- Login credentials must be kept confidential and not shared.
- Teachers are responsible for managing student access in groups they create.
- We may suspend access for security, misuse, or non-payment reasons.
3. Licence and permitted use
- Wise-Revise content and software are licensed, not sold.
- Use is limited to educational learning, assessment, and classroom support within entitlement limits.
- School-managed resources may be shared only within the licensed organisation and approved groups.
- Derivative classroom materials are permitted for internal educational use only.
4. Prohibited use
- No bots, scripted automation, scraping, phishing, or security circumvention.
- No reverse engineering, cloning, or building competing services from platform functionality/content.
- No unlawful, abusive, harmful, discriminatory, or fraudulent use.
- No sharing of licensed resources outside authorised users/organisations.
- No use of platform content as training data for external AI model training pipelines.
5. AI and marking functionality
- AI-marked features are provided on supported plans and may be rate-limited by entitlement, daily limits, or spend caps.
- AI output assists learning but may require teacher oversight in educational settings.
- Feature availability can vary by plan and account type (student/teacher/super admin).
6. Pricing, billing, and non-payment
- Current prices are published in membership and checkout pages.
- Usage-based teacher AI billing is charged per AI quiz event according to active plan.
- Failed payment may pause paid features or suspend account access.
- We may enforce debt recovery and lawful late-payment procedures where applicable.
7. Cancellations, plan changes, and refunds
- Users can manage cancellation and plan changes through account billing controls where available.
- Prorated plan changes apply to ensure fair billing transitions.
- Refunds and cooling-off rights are handled according to applicable consumer law and plan conditions.
8. Service availability and changes
- We may update features, content, and pricing from time to time.
- Planned maintenance may cause temporary unavailability.
- We may discontinue parts of the service with reasonable operational notice where practical.
9. Data protection and privacy
Use of Wise-Revise is subject to the Privacy Notice, UK GDPR Policy, Data Processing Agreement terms, and related safeguarding/privacy statements.
10. Intellectual property
All platform code, marks, designs, datasets, and content remain the intellectual property of Wise-Revise and its licensors unless expressly stated otherwise.
11. Liability and disclaimers
Wise-Revise is provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability is limited for indirect/consequential losses. Statutory rights are not excluded.
12. Termination
We may terminate or restrict access for material breach, prohibited use, legal requirements, or unresolved billing issues.
13. Governing law
Unless otherwise agreed in a signed contract, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
